The idea that freedom was an inherent right, that tyranny could be successfully opposed, that government could serve the people, not the few, was truly revolutionary in 1776—as it is today.

The American Revolution, however, has run its course; and unless resuscitated and given new life, the American dream and the dreams of America 's founding fathers will soon be only a memory. Dreams rarely come to pass and those that do rarely last. The American dream is no exception.

The principles were not many, e.g. fiscal prudence, sound money, separation of church and state and a limited military and limited government. But even those few and clearly stated principles succumbed over the years to the imposition of policies that had given rise to the need to revolt in 1776.

Now, in 2008, tyranny and government excesses are again upon America , but this time it is by America 's own hand. The policies of King George III were no more egregious than the policies of President George Bush II.— taxation without real representation, e.g. TARP (80 % Americans opposed), the imposition of policies contrary to the will of the people, e.g. US presence in Iraq and Afghanistan (70 % opposed), and the loss of individual freedoms under the Patriot Act (60 % opposed).

The difference between 1776 and 2008 is that America is now tyrannized not by the King of England but by its own government. Today, the US government does not represent the will of the people. It represents instead the special interests that control the US government through the buying of votes— America is not for sale only because it has already been sold.

The difference between 1776 and 2008 is not only 232 years. It is the difference between the dream of the Founding Fathers and the shadow of that dream in whose increasing darkness Americans now exist.

FALL FROM POWER AND THE SOURCE OF ITS INCREASING PROBLEMS

Thomas Jefferson warned 200 hundred years ago that if private bankers were allowed to issue America 's money, indebtedness, foreclosure and suffering would follow. Yet, in 1913, private bankers gained control over America 's money by the passage of the Federal Reserve Act.

We are now suffering for ignoring Jefferson 's warnings. Jefferson was right in predicting our problems but his words were overridden by those who had other plans for America , plans that would increase their profits at the expense of the nation.

It is no accident America is now an empty shell of the great economic power it once was. Bled dry by debt imposed by those whose sole intent was to profit, the US is now bankrupt at a time it desperately needs the resources it no longer has.

The US Treasury is now empty except for IOUs and only if others continue to buy America 's debts can America continue to go forward. Once we were creditors, now we are debtors. America cannot escape the consequences of what has been done but we can limit our problems if we undo their cause.

The Federal Reserve Act was enacted by Congress and signed into law by President Woodrow Wilson who later bitterly regretted what he had done to America .

I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. Mexican drug smugglers spray bullets, but U.S. officers dare not return fire

A team of Mexican drug smugglers unloaded $1 million worth of drugs across the U.S. border, spraying bullets at U.S. Border Patrol agents with automatic weapons, but the agents dared not return fire – as one official said they fear losing their jobs or ending up behind bars like agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean . . . In an incident similar to the Ramos and Compean case, one border patrol agent said he feared for his life after a group of illegal aliens began throwing rocks and concrete chunks at him in August at the San Ysidro border crossing. He fired his weapon and wounded one of the men in the buttocks. Officials at the Mexican consulate in San Diego criticized the 10-year Border Patrol veteran and demanded the U.S. conduct a full investigation, the San Diego Union Tribune reported. Local police and the FBI investigated the agent. "Any kind of shooting toward Mexican territory is rejected by the Mexican government," Consul General Remedios Gómez Arnau warned Border Patrol agents. "They should have waited for response of the Mexican authorities." After this month's incident, an anonymous officer close to the investigation told the Laguna Journal that agents often fear defending themselves because shooting back could mean prison time – just as it did for Ramos and Compean. Since when does law enforcement agency of the UNITED STATES not allowed to shoot at an enemy that is threatening them with with an assault with a deadly weapon no matter who it is and especially at our borders they are sworn to protect. I do not care if the Mexican authorities threaten the US, when foreigners are shooting at American Border patrol, no matter private or military from another country, anyone who threatens assault with a deadly weapons especially machine guns and whatever deadly non gun powered weapons foreigners assault with they have the RIGHT TO SHOOT BACK TO PROTECT THEMSELVES and it should be understood by both countries correct? That is an act of war not matter if it is one foreigner or a thousand. How disrespectful of our Federal Government to arrest those in officially US law enforcement uniforms paid by the AMERICAN taxpayer protecting our BORDERS. Funny oxymoron is the agents arrest and serving in time in prison for wounding a drug runner (U.S. Border Agents Ramos and Compean WHO Need Our Support) are of Mexican American descent. So we see that even our BORDER PATROL cannot do an effective job in fear of doing their job. How ridiculous is that? How disgusting it is to allow someone who may seem mentally capable of leadership but since one wants a role reversal to force nature for his or her own wantonness and sexual perversions, it seems that the sin catches up and the dirty deeds behind that sin become more and more exposed as the filthiness it really is. Many may seem that I am very bigoted when it comes to exposing the truth about homosexuality or they may call me homophobic (which is not truly a real English punctual word just a made up word like poo poo etc. it is used to justify a reason of wantonness in desperation to keep sinning etc), but I truly know that it is a death and destructive sin for former perversion experiences in my BC days and that the acts thereof are by those who really cannot help themselves and they do anything they can to satisfy that sin even to the point of horrendous murder as we know what happens to those who are in bondage to sin. It really never comes out nondestructive does it? Sin of all kinds lead to destruction period. Just look at the article (below).
We have in the head of our Congress and archetypal named Barney Frank. Self proclaimed homosexual. Politician and in political leadership? Now you are without excuse to realize the mental instability of those you voted into office if you voted for one who is living and trying to force something he IS NOT naturally but only perversely.

Since when are the immoral are allowed to deface Morality when our country was founded with FACT on Moral principles period. No wonder we have many in Congress and in the Senate etc. with immoral MENTAL disorders. Now let me ask you, Who is truly responsible for all this immoral madness? Do we blame the devil? Do we blame someone else?

Answer, Anyone who continues to remain silent and not do anything about all these immoral practices that have brought us to these end results that will lead to destruction guaranteed. Bail outs, unemployment's, Attacks again natural marriage between a man and a woman, How many immoral practices should I name? You do the math.

When will American's really realize how far we are drifting away from what We morally and with Godly fear endearingly established to continue to allow those caught in mentally unstable immoral practices to continue to buy their way into ruining all the freedom GOD so gave us with the only condition is to "IN GOD WE TRUST" alone.

Well, one day is coming that soon HIS Kingdom will come and we will have this guaranteed, but there is still a GREAT COMMISSION to be fulfilled and AMERICA you were to represent this to the World. And you call yourselves CHRISTIANS?

Bailout recipients Fannie, Freddie gave $ to 'gay' groups

The group Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays (PFOX) is outraged that even though government-backed mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac went broke and received a federal bailout, they still managed to give thousands of dollars this year to homosexual activist groups.

PFOX executive director Regina Griggs says Freddie Mac shelled out $65,000 over the past two years to the Human Rights Campaign to help homosexual couples adopt children. The Freddie Mac Foundation has given more than $125,000 to homosexual activist groups over the last three years, and the Fannie Mae Foundation has given $80,000 to such groups in the past decade.

Shawn Flaherty, a spokeswoman for Freddie Mac, told PFOX that she was not sure whether the ex-"gay" group would meet grant guidelines. However, Griggs says Flaherty noted the Foundation focuses on three priorities -- stable homes, foster care and adoption, and youth development.

"What could be more important than supporting marriage as a man and one woman, adoption by heterosexual couples, and how about telling youth the truth -- you're not born that way [homosexual], that change is possible?" she wonders. "It was interesting because her other comment was that 'the grants have not focused on the gay community. It's a piece of it.' That's my tax dollars silencing me, silencing our organizations, coming after [Christian non-profits]. This is unbelievable."

Griggs believes it is no coincidence that openly homosexual Congressman Barney Frank (D-Massachusetts) chairs the House committee that provides oversight of Fannie and Freddie, and Frank has received more than $40,000 in campaign contributions from Fannie and Freddie since 1989. Frank's former boyfriend, Herb Moses, was an executive at Fannie Mae from 1981-1989.

(CNSNews.com) - Chicago Public Schools CEO Arne Duncan, who President-elect Barack Obama announced yesterday as his choice to be Secretary of Education, supported and approved plans for a special public high school for homosexuals.

Social Justice High School, Pride Campus was one of a number of projected public schools that Duncan approved for Chicago. The school was planned to open its doors to all students while offering support for homosexual and lesbian students and including notable gay and lesbian figures in its curriculum.

Duncan’s opinion of the planned school appeared in a Sept. 11 article in the Chicago Tribune.

“Given how large and diverse we are, I think there’s a niche there,” he said. “I think there will be more gay students in the school than other schools, but I wouldn’t be surprised if less than half the students are gay.”

Duncan approved the school in October and then said that he would ask the Chicago Board of Education to approve it as well.

“We want to create great new options for communities that have been traditionally underserved,” the Chicago Tribune quoted Duncan as saying in an Oct 9 article. “If you look at national studies, you can see gay and lesbian students with high dropout rates . . . I think there is a niche there we need to fill.”

Laurie Higgins, a spokeswoman for the conservative Illinois Family Institute, expressed concern over the selection of Duncan to be the future Secretary of Education.

“Our concern, of course, is that he’s going to take these values -- these arguable, unproven theories about homosexuality and how public schools should treat it -- and using his power and position, affirm that in some kind of more nationwide proposals, or policies,” Higgins told CNSNews.com.

“Nowhere in there did Arne Duncan express anything other than approval for this school,” Higgins said of the discussions that preceded the city school board’s vote on the school proposal.

This means, Higgins said, that “he necessarily has taken a position on what homosexuality is -- the nature of it, and its morality. In order to have curricula that affirm homosexuality, you have to have come to these prior conclusions.”

Cindy Crane, executive director of the Gay-Straight-Alliance for Safe Schools, was highly supportive of Obama’s choice of Duncan for the position.

“We very much support these sort of efforts,” Crane told CNSNews.com, “so from that perspective, we’re very happy that he has been offered this position.”

“We’re pleased that someone who established himself as understanding the special challenges of LGBTs (Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgendered) or sexual minorities within his own state is now in a federal position and will be able to influence legislation and budgets on a federal level,” she continued.

While the school’s design team eventually removed the plan from consideration by the school board, Duncan reportedly thought the original plan for the high school was “absolutely interesting and intriguing,” according to the Tribune.

Duncan reportedly hasn’t given up on the homosexual high school.

“The design team will take time to reconsider those ideas and come back with a stronger proposal,” Duncan told the Tribune. “This is a very healthy part of the process. There’s plenty of time. It’s more important to get it right.”

The high school, which is known officially as “Social Justice High School -- Pride Campus,” would be an offshoot of an existing school in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago, called Social Justice High School.

Duncan also supported that school, as well as the communal efforts to bring the school about.

In 2001, 14 members of the Little Village community went on a hunger strike, after plans for a new school in Little Village were put on hold once again, reportedly because of budget constraints in the district.

Duncan rose to the position of CEO of Chicago Public Schools shortly after the 19-day hunger strike ended. Soon, $5 million was promised for the school’s design and preparation.

“I support them,” Duncan said of the hunger strikers. “I solved the thing. I actually have a hell of a lot of respect for them.”

Four small schools comprising Little Village High School opened in 2005 --one of which was Social Justice High School.

“These schools reflect one of the central goals of our new school creation strategy,” he reportedly remarked after the opening of Little Village High School. “We want to create the kind of schools that our community wants and needs.”

On January 16, 2009, pro-family attorney Charles LiMandri will be representing four courageous San Diego firefighters who are suing the city of San Diego for being forced to participate in the San Diego Gay Pride Parade on July 21, 2007. The four men - Captain John Ghiotto, engineer Jason Hewett, and firefighters Chad Allison and Alex Kane - objected to driving a city fire truck in the parade, but were ordered to do so to avoid disciplinary action, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. During the parade, they became "targets of obscene gestures and sexual comments," says the newspaper.

According to LiMandri, who is West Coast director of the Thomas More Law Center, the firefighters' complaint of sexual harassment against the city of San Diego is an important case. It represents a defense of some of our most basic tenets of freedom - namely freedom of speech and freedom of religion.
With those liberties now under blatant attack from around the country, this case is worth pursuing. According to the firefighters' attorney, the case "will impact a lot of people who work in government." If the four firefighters win, it will be great victory for freedom of speech. "Gay rights should not trump freedom of speech," LiMandri told the Christian Mirror.

The San Diego attorney indicated to OneNewsNow that the four city employees "were given a direct order against their will to participate in the ... Gay Parade" - an event that San Diego fire chief, Tracy Jarman, an open lesbian, described as a "fun event." But during the parade, says LiMandri, the firefighters were subjected to "numerous, offensive 'cat calls,' gestures of [a] sexual nature, and were the object of many obscene and lewd acts."

LiMandri told me that City Attorney Mike Aguirre, while in office, "tried to make an example of these four firefighters ... [in the belief] that Christians should just go along and be quiet." In November, Aguirre was ousted from office and replaced by Jan Goldsmith. With that change, LiMandri believes the chances are "very good" for a win this time.

The first time this case was taken up by the courts (in October) ended in a hung jury. And with the new case starting up in the New Year, the cost of this case continues to mount. The Apostle Paul admonished the church of Corinth with these words: "[Whether] one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it." Ill. Gov. arrested in Obama successor probe

CHICAGO (AP) - Federal authorities arrested Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich Tuesday on charges that he brazenly conspired to sell or trade the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by President-elect Barack Obama to the highest bidder.

Blagojevich also was charged with illegally threatening to withhold state assistance to Tribune Co., the owner of the Chicago Tribune, in the sale of Wrigley Field, according to a federal criminal complaint. In return for state assistance, Blagojevich allegedly wanted members of the paper's editorial board who had been critical of him fired.

A 76-page FBI affidavit said the 51-year-old Democratic governor was intercepted on court-authorized wiretaps over the last month conspiring to sell or trade the vacant Senate seat for personal benefits for himself and his wife, Patti.

Otherwise, Blagojevich considered appointing himself. The affidavit said that as late as Nov. 3, he told his deputy governor that if "they're not going to offer me anything of value I might as well take it."

"I'm going to keep this Senate option for me a real possibility, you know, and therefore I can drive a hard bargain," Blagojevich allegedly said later that day, according to the affidavit, which also quoted him as saying in a remark punctuated by profanity that the seat was "a valuable thing - you just don't give it away for nothing."

The affidavit said Blagojevich also discussed getting a substantial salary for himself at a nonprofit foundation or an organization affiliated with labor unions.

It said Blagojevich also talked about getting his wife placed on corporate boards where she might get $150,000 a year in director's fees.

He also allegedly discussed getting campaign funds for himself or possibly a post in the president's cabinet or an ambassadorship once he left the governor's office. He noted becoming a U.S. senator might remake his image for a possible presidential run in 2016, according to the affidavit. And he allegedly said a Senate seat would also provide him with corporate contacts if he needed a job and present an opportunity for his wife to work as a lobbyist.

"I want to make money," the affidavit quotes him as saying in one conversation.

The affidavit said Blagojevich expressed frustration at being "stuck" as governor and that he would have access to greater resources if he were indicted while in the U.S. Senate than while sitting as governor.

U.S. Attorney Patrick J. Fitzgerald said in a statement that "the breadth of corruption laid out in these charges is staggering."

"They allege that Blagojevich put a for sale sign on the naming of a United States senator," Fitzgerald said."

Among those being considered for the post include U.S. Reps. Danny Davis and Jesse Jackson Jr.

Blagojevich also was charged with using his authority as governor in an attempt to squeeze out campaign contributions.

His chief of staff, John Harris, also was arrested.

Corruption in the Blagojevich administration has been the focus of a federal investigation involving an alleged $7 million scheme aimed at squeezing kickbacks out of companies seeking business from the state. Federal prosecutors have acknowledged they're also investigating "serious allegations of endemic hiring fraud" under Blagojevich.

Political fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko who raised money for the campaigns of both Blagojevich and Obama is awaiting sentencing after being convicted of fraud and other charges. Blagojevich's chief fundraiser, Christopher G. Kelly, is due to stand trial early next year on charges of obstructing the Internal Revenue Service.

According to Tuesday's complaint, Blagojevich schemed with Rezko, millionaire-fundraiser turned federal witness Stuart Levine and others to get financial benefits for himself and his campaign committee.

Federal prosecutors said Blagojevich and the chairman of his campaign committee have been speeding up corrupt fundraising activities in the last month to get as much money as possible before the end of the year when a new law would curtail his ability to raise contributions from companies with state contracts worth more than $50,000.

According to the affidavit, agents learned Blagojevich was seeking $2.5 million in campaign contributions by the end of the year, with a large part allegedly to come from companies and individuals who have gotten state contracts or appointments.

Blagojevich took the chief executive's office in 2003 as a reformer promising to clean up former Gov. George Ryan's mess.

Ryan, a Republican, is serving a 6-year prison sentence after being convicted on racketeering and fraud charges. A decade-long investigation began with the sale of driver's licenses for bribes and led to the conviction of dozens of people who worked for Ryan when he was secretary of state and governor.

FBI spokesman Frank Bochte said federal agents arrested the governor and Harris simultaneously at their homes at 6:15 a.m. and took them to the Chicago FBI headquarters.

Bochte said he did not know if either man was handcuffed or if the governor's family was their North Side home at the time of his arrest. He did say Blagojevich and Harris both were given time to get dressed before being taken to the headquarters.

He also did not have any details about Blagojevich's arrest, only that he was cooperative with federal agents.

"It was a very calm setting," he said.

The governor was to appear later Tuesday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Nan Nolan to answer the charges. The time was not immediately set.

An anti-tax activist from upstate New York who is questioning whether President-elect Barack Obama is a "natural born citizen" eligible for the nation's top job said Tuesday that his non-profit group spent "tens of thousands of dollars" to get his message across in ads in the Chicago Tribune this week.

Robert L. Schulz, 69, chairman of We The People Foundation, took out ads Monday and Wednesday to raise questions about whether Obama's Hawaii certificate of live birth is authentic.

The ads echo accusations circulated online by some Obama opponents before the election. Cases challenging Obama's citizenship have been tossed out of courts in several states, and Hawaiian officials have vouched for the authenticity of Obama's birth certificate, which is locked in a state vault. The Obama campaign likewise has always dismissed the accusations.

Nevertheless, some critics remain dubious.

Here are the allegations raised in Schulz's ad, and some relevant facts:

•The birth form released by Obama was "an unsigned, forged and thoroughly discredited" live birth form, Schulz says.

Last summer, Obama's campaign presented a digital copy of his certificate of live birth. After critics questioned its authenticity, staff at FactCheck.org, a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania, said they had seen, held and examined the actual birth certificate.

•"Hawaiian officials will not confirm" that Obama was born in their state, Schulz says.

Initially, Hawaiian officials said that privacy laws prevented them from releasing a copy or confirming that Obama's copy was authentic. But in late October as questions persisted, Hawaii's health director and head of vital statistics reviewed Obama's birth certificate in the department's vault and vouched for its authenticity.

•Schulz says that legal affidavits state Obama was born in Kenya.

The affidavits that Schulz refers to are filings by the Obama critics themselves in the court cases challenging Obama's citizenship.

•Obama's paternal grandmother is recorded on tape saying she attended Obama's birth in Kenya, Schulz says.

The group's Web site posted what it says is a transcript of a long-distance phone conversation in Swahili and English from late October between a questioner in the United States and Sarah Hussein Obama, in her Kenyan home. The translator said he was one of two interpreters conducting the interview in a crowded hut during a celebration, over a speaker phone that dropped the call three times. A copy of the recording was not provided by Schulz.

• Schulz says that "U.S. law in effect in 1961 [the year of Obama's birth] denied citizenship to any child born in Kenya if the father was Kenyan and the mother was not yet 19 years of age."

If a child is born in the United States—as Hawaiian officials state that Obama was—that child is a U.S. citizen regardless of his or her parents' nationalities. If born to an American parent outside the U.S., the law at the time would require the U.S. citizen parent to be at least 19, which Obama's mother was not. The provisions of this law were subsequently loosened and made retroactive for government employees serving abroad and their families. It appears that this would not apply to Obama's mother. The matter would seem to be academic: Hawaiian officials vouch for Obama's birth certificate.

•Schulz says that in 1965, Obama's mother relinquished whatever Kenyan or U.S. citizenship she and Obama had by marrying an Indonesian and becoming a naturalized Indonesian citizen.

U.S. law lists the specific acts and formal procedures necessary to relinquish U.S. nationality. The statute requires the acts be performed voluntarily and with the intention of relinquishing one's nationality. In many instances, one must be 18 to renounce one's citizenship. Obama moved to Indonesia in 1968 and moved back to Hawaii while still in grade school. There is no indication that Obama renounced his U.S. citizenship.

Schulz supports his argument with a reproduced Indonesian school document that states Obama's citizenship at that time as "Indonesian." But the same document also lists Obama's birthplace as " Honolulu, Hawaii."

Schulz, interviewed by the Tribune on Tuesday, said his concern about Obama's citizenship is not partisan.

"We never get involved in politics," he said of We The People. "We avoid it like the plague."

Tax debate is fair game, however. The Queensbury, N.Y., man has been active on tax issues for nearly 30 years. Last year, a senior judge in the Northern District of New York ordered Schulz to shut down a Web site that sold advice on avoiding taxes.

Asked about the case, Schulz said the government has tried to silence him.

He hopes the Tribune ads bring his group prominence.

Schulz said his group also considered a similar ad in USA Today, but said the cost was prohibitive. He said his group considered both the Chicago Sun-Times and the Tribune, but said his group settled on the Tribune because of the size of its pages and its larger circulation. He would not specify how much his group spent on two days of full-page ads except to say they cost tens of thousands of dollars and were paid for by donations from supporters.

A Tribune advertising spokesman said the newspaper has standards for what ads it will accept and that the ad met those standards.

An associate lawyer in a Chicago-based firm whose partner served on a finance committee for then-Sen. Barack Obama has advocated for the elimination of the U.S. Constitution's requirement that a president be a "natural-born" citizen, calling the requirement "stupid" and asserting it discriminates, is outdated and undemocratic.

The paper was written in 2006 by Sarah Herlihy, just two years after Obama had won a landslide election in Illinois to the U.S. Senate. Herlihy is listed as an associate at the Chicago firm of Kirkland & Ellis. A partner in the same firm, Bruce I. Ettelson, cites his membership on the finance committees for both Obama and Sen. Richard Durbin on the corporate website.

The article by Herlihy is available online under law review articles from Kent University.

The issue is the subject of nearly two dozen court cases in recent weeks, including at least two that have gone to the U.S. Supreme Court.

There have been accusations that Obama was born in Kenya, not Hawaii as his campaign has stated. His paternal grandmother has stated she was in attendance at his birth in Mombasa. While Hawaii officials say they have seen his birth certificate, they have declined to release information from it.

The Certification of Live Birth from Hawaii that the Obama campaign posted on the Internet isn't considered by critics to resolve the issue, since during the 1960s when Obama was born, the new state issued the document to infants not necessarily born in Hawaii.

There also remain unanswered questions about his youth, when he lived and attended school in Indonesia and later when he traveled to Pakistan. The questions include whether he gave up a U.S. citizenship to attend school or traveled on another nation's passport to Pakistan at a time when U.S. passports were unwelcome there.

Answers to those issues could determine whether Obama meets the Constitution's demand for a "natural-born" citizen.

Herlihy's published paper reveals that the requirement likely was considered in a negative light by organizations linked to Obama in the months before he announced in 2007 his candidacy for the presidency.

"The natural born citizen requirement in Article II of the United States Constitution has been called the 'stupidest provision' in the Constitution, "undecidedly un-American," "blatantly discriminatory," and the "Constitution's worst provision," Herlihy begins in her introduction to the paper titled, "Amending the Natural Born Citizen Requirement: Globalization as the Impetus and the Obstacle."

She concludes that the "emotional" reasons to oppose changing the Constitution will prevail over the "rational" reasons demanding a change.

WND called Herlihy's number listed on the law firm website, and a woman answered with, "Sarah Herlihy." But when WND identified itself as a news agency, the woman said she didn't think "Sarah Herlihy" was in, but would take a message. There was no return call.

Limiting presidential eligibility to natural born citizens discriminates against naturalized citizens, is outdated and undemocratic, and incorrectly assumes that birthplace is a proxy for loyalty," she wrote.

Many of the reasons for keeping the limit, she wrote, "are based primarily on emotion."

The case of an assault against a young Christian by a homosexual in San Francisco is garnering national headlines.

On November 14, Promised Land Fellowship church sent 13 members to the Castro District of San Francisco, a neighborhood known for its large homosexual population. The young people gathered at a street corner, joined hands, and began singing "Amazing Grace."

During an interview on Fox network's The O'Reilly Factor, Christine Cloud described the group's intentions. "We are not trying to convert gay people into straight people, but we are down there telling them about Jesus Christ in hopes that they would have that revelation," she explains.

Cloud says an angry homosexual grabbed her Bible. She then describes what happened when she asked the man to return it. "And he turned around, and he said no, and he hit me upside the head with the Bible, knocking me to the ground, and began to kick my legs," she recounts.

The police were nearby, according to Cloud, and they sprang into action. "The police took him into custody, and they came up to me and they asked me if I wanted to press charges against this man, and I said, 'No, tell him that I forgive him,'" she notes.

Members of Promised Land Fellowship go to the Castro District on a regular basis to evangelize the area.

A Christian lawyer says the Miami judge who has ruled against Florida's ban on homosexual adoption should run for the legislature if she wants to practice activism.

Mat Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel and Dean of Liberty University School of Law takes issue with Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Cindy Lederman. "In the short-term, this judge's ruling is merely a tempest in a teapot, but in the long-term, it means nothing," he contends. "The courts will clearly overturn this judge's ruling on appeal. This law has previously been challenged and upheld by both the state and federal appeals courts."

Lederman's ruling will allow Martin Gill, a 47-year-old homosexual, to adopt two young brothers who have been his foster children since 2004. Staver calls Lederman an activist judge and notes that he and others are getting fed up with her type.

Personally I take these homosexual activism very serious being a child molest victim of the perverted at a young age as well as a teen as well. All that was not truly my fault accept for my rebellious side and or putting myself in the wrong place at the wrong time. But I still was taken advantage of against my will which I pray no one reading this ever has to go through this at all. Sparks fly as 'gay' activist mob swarms Christians

Hundreds of homosexual activists rushed out of bars and swarmed a group of Christians who were singing songs in San Francisco's Castro District – and some even threatened to kill the worshippers.

A group of Christians had been singing and praying in the "gay" district for several days, but they never expected an angry mob would run them out. However, that's what happened Friday night.

One woman who was attacked told her story with Pastor Lou Engle at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. She said the group's fellowship had been peaceful for several nights before the riot.

"People would come stand with us and join us," she said. "We got to pray for some people."

But then angry men began yelling profanities and warning the Christians to leave the district.

One asked, "Why are you here?"

The leader of the group said, "We're here to worship God, and we're here because we love you."

A group of men approached the Christians and covered them with a large cloth, backing them into a corner. Then the angry mob began swearing and growing larger. The bars began emptying out, and a crowd completely surrounded the Christians.

The worship group began singing "Amazing Grace," while an estimated 500 "gay" advocates sang, "We Shall Overcome."

The woman said she and her friend were doused with hot coffee. One man took a Bible from her friend, hit her on the head with it, pushed her to the ground and began kicking her. People began lunging at the Christian group, blowing whistles in their ears.

"They started saying, 'We're going to kill you,'" she said. "They started taking our pictures and saying, 'We're going to kill you. We know who you are."

Then she said a man jumped through the crowd and pushed her forehead.

Just then, a squad of police officers arrived in riot gear, surrounding the Christians and forming a protective human wall.

She said the police told them, "You have to leave if you want to make it out."

When the group continued praying, an officer came back and said, "You don't have a choice anymore. We're going to escort you out."

The officers then took the Christians to their cars. The angry mob began lunging at them through the riot gear and chanting "Shame on you!"

Some yelled, "We are going to follow you all the way home!" Others called the Christians "hypocrites."

One man screamed into a camera, "We don't ever want them coming back. Do you understand that, other Christians? Do you understand that, other Mormons? I'm talking to you, people. Yeah, you. Stay out of our neighborhood if you don't like us. Leave us alone!"

"Their rights were respected," Joe Schmitz, an opponent of Prop. 8, told San Francisco's KTVU Channel 2. "They got a chance to go ahead and pray on the sidewalk, and I had the opportunity to express my freedom of speech, which is telling them to get out of my neighborhood."

The following day, approximately 20,000 people marched in San Francisco to protest passage of California's Proposition 8 protecting traditional marriage. Several thousand people conducted other protests around the nation in cities such as Manhattan, Chicago and Los Angeles. According to reports, many protesters feeling emboldened by the recent election chanted, "Yes we can!" – a slogan popularized by the Barack Obama campaign.

Prop. 8 opponents show 'intolerance', 'hypocrisy'

The war against passage of Proposition 8, the constitutional amendment that California voters approved to protect traditional marriage, continues.

PJI Homosexual activists have taken the case back to the courts to try to overturn the vote. Filing a brief supporting homosexual marriage are the California Council of Churches and the Episcopal bishops of Northern California and Los Angeles. Brad Dacus of Pacific Justice Institute (PJI) says the people who support same-sex marriage believe if voters are permitted to take away rights from a group based on sexual orientation, the same could happen to religious groups.

"These arguments are totally without merit in that homosexual marriage is not a true fundamental right, and that's the reason why voters had to go to the polls and amend the constitution of California to once again protect that which is truly a fundamental right," he explains.

Dacus says he understands where the organizations are coming from, and says it is not the Bible. "These groups that just filed the brief are the ones that are the most adamantly against Christians who believe in the Bible, believe in what the Bible teaches," he adds. "Their intolerance is unmistakable, and their hypocrisy is very evident in what they've filed."

The opponents against all the Amendments in favor of protecting Marriage between a MAN and a WOMAN and the ones in California who refuse to allow the American system be the American system seem to imitate the same behavior of what JESUS taught about Sodom and Gomorrah and the days of Noah. In the Bible it clarifies as to those same perverted behaviors wanting to have intercourse with the angels who seem to be in human form as to how these sickening behaviors these sinners so grotesquely became in their sin that they even engage into something so profain in the presence of the objects of GOD holiness that it is a no wonder that GOD reign the judgment with fire and brimstone on that city because of their protests against those that represented righteousness in Lot's household. Liberal churches join effort to overturn Prop. 8

SAN FRANCISCO - The state attorney general and sponsors of the ballot initiative that banned same-sex marriage in California urged its Supreme Court to hear a series of lawsuits seeking to overturn the ban, saying the matter is too urgent to be unsettled.



"The petitions raise issues of statewide importance, implicating not only California's marriage laws but also the initiative process and the Constitution itself," Attorney General Jerry Brown argued in his filing.

"This court can provide certainty and finality in this matter," he said.

Proposition 8, which passed with 52 percent of the vote earlier this month, overturned the high court's May decision legalizing homosexual marriage in California. The easure inserts language into the constitution limiting marriage to one man and one woman.

Gay and civil rights groups, the city of San Francisco and other plaintiffs have asked the court to void the measure on the grounds that voters did not have the authority to make, what they say, is a fundamental constitutional change.



The California Council of Churches and the Episcopal bishops of Northern California and Los Angeles were among those asking the high court to invalidate Proposition 8. They argue that if voters are permitted to take away rights from a group based on sexual orientation, the same could happen to religious minorities.

There is no deadline for the justices to decide whether they'll take the cases.

The litigation has made unwitting allies of supporters of the same-sex marriage ban and the attorney general, who voted against the proposition. Over the summer, anti-gay marriage groups sued Brown after his office changed the measure's wording to reflect that it would take away a right that same-sex couples then had.

Brown has since said that in his role as California's top public lawyer, he will fight to uphold Proposition 8 as an expression of public sentiment on same-sex marriage. The preliminary documents he filed Monday did not address that issue.

Andrew Pugno, a lawyer for the Yes on 8 campaign, said the measure's supporters are so confident the Supreme Court would uphold the initiative they want the court to take the cases and resolve the question quickly.

"There is no question Proposition 8 is exactly the type of amendment the framers of the Constitution envisioned for the people to be able to enact," Pugno said.

The Protect Marriage coalition is less confident about Brown's sincere interest in defending the gay marriage ban in court, according to Pugno. That's why the coalition asked the court for permission to intervene in the cases Monday.

"Everyone knows the AG opposed Proposition 8, did everything he could to undermine it and it still passed anyway," he said. "There is little hope he would make much effort at all to defend Prop. 8."

Both the attorney general and Protect Marriage asked the court to reject a request from gay marriage supporters for a stay that would allow same-sex couples to resume marrying in California until the broader legal issues are addressed.
